Generator Maintenance Plans

Central Jersey Generators offers several maintenance plans to suit your budget and generator usage.

All of our plans include load bank testing, oil sample testing, transfer switch maintenance, and 24-hour emergency service.

Annual Maintenance Plan

We check all equipment against our 82-point inspection procedure. We will make repairs as needed and approved by the customer.

We also:

  • Change oil, oil filter, and fuel filter
  • Test and treat coolant if needed
  • Dispose of waste oil and filters and approved recycling facility
  • Replace the engine air filter, as needed

Semi-Annual Maintenance Plan

We perform the same steps as with our annual plan, but twice a year. We recommend this in our service areas closer to the ocean where salt air may affect your system performance.

Quarterly Maintenance Plan

We perform the same steps as with our other plans every three months. This plan is recommended when your system provides life-saving or emergency service backup power.

Monthly Maintenance Plan

We perform the same steps as with our other plans every three months. This plan is recommended when your system provides life-saving or emergency service backup power, and is required to meet certain emergency system codes.
